This is the movement of the dislocation line in a circular fashion by a combination of edge and screw dislocations and gives rise to a cylindrical volume of slipped crystal.The anomaly enlarges with greater amount of continuous dislocation lines operating in this manner and the crystal slip goes on increasing.
