FAULT BEND FOLD

Fault-bend folds are formed as the hanging wall moves over a ramp on the footwall. The viable model for fault bend folds predicts an anticline with kink-style fold hinges that formed and progressively grows above a footwall ramp as strata of the hanging wall begin to slide up and over the fault bends.
