THRUST RELATED FOLDING

The four figures show the fault bend fold with antiform on the hanging wall block of the thrust, the ductile response of a moving thrust sheet, the detachment fold at the surface of decollement detachment and the drape fold in the cover rocks, an expression of a basement fault such as an imbricate fault of a thrust. All these come in the category of fault induced folds but the last are most extensively studied.
