Minor folds can have S or Z shapes depending on their sense of asymmetry and these in turn can give rise to complex refolded shapes with same sense of superimposition such as S on S or Z on Z or may have opposed sense as Son Z or Z on S folds. The outcrop patterns developed are typical of the type of superposition of two sets of fold structures.
